God Won’t Take Your Purpose: Your Destiny Belongs to You
Many of us, me included, have believed that somehow we can lose our purpose; that our destiny can be denied us for reasons too many to list. Most common though is that we’ve waited too long to act to begin the journey toward our dreams…our destiny and now it’s too late.
In fact, our dreams are much like muscle; when regularly exercised it gets stronger, larger and has more endurance. However, if left unused it becomes weak and frail but that doesn’t make the muscle cease to exist. And it can be restored to its full potential by using it; although there will be a period of struggle and it may even be slightly painful; within a short time a muscle is back on track and can be everything it was created to be; be as strong as it was meant to be and fulfill its purpose.
Our destiny is the exact same; if we’ve shelved it for circumstance or fear it makes no difference. The dream is still there and your destiny is still yours.
Romans 11:29 (NLT)
For God’s gifts and his call can never be withdrawn.
Not even God will take away our purpose from us which means the purpose for which God created us when He called our name into existence is still our purpose today.
Forget your mistakes, God has. Let go of the past and the people that have hurt you because God has called you to a specific purpose wrapped up in the gifts He sowed into your creation and the desire He placed in your heart.
Don’t worry about how much time has passed because God is the keeper of time; He can accelerate your progress and with the Holy Spirit as your guide, get you to your destination in time to fulfill your purpose.
It’s not too late for you to become what God created you to be; after all He is the Creator of everything. It is only up to us to take a leap of faith; listen for His calling and follow. He’ll take care of the rest.
