THE ARCHITECT OF OUR DESTINY
The pathway to destiny is certainly not for the weak but everyone has a destiny. For every step we take toward our purposed end, on the surface it seems as if the world shrinks and simple becomes a faded memory.
The fires that test the purity of our motives rages and can often feel overwhelmed and not equipped to push through these challenges.
For me it has been a truly interesting time. If I didn’t know any better I would say that the world and the forces that drive life’s existence have lined up in opposition to me with the intention of driving me away from my destiny. From personal sickness to untimely expenses and now my mom having to be hospitalized; in all honesty I could use your prayers for all these things but I must admit that I continue undeterred by these events but more determined to fulfill my purpose.
The reason I feel this way isn’t because I’m confident in my abilities or my own determination. I’m just keenly aware of who is the architect of my life…God. He designed the purpose for my life and created the blueprint that I’m to follow but when I look at the blueprint I have no idea how to read it so I often am left waiting for direction from Him so I can move to the next step.
This is true no matter what your purpose is…God has the plan, He understands the plan and gives us direction at the right time so that the plan is implemented properly.
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding.6 Seek his will in all you do,
and he will show you which path to take.
If we don’t trust the Lord with ALL our hearts then we may do something out of order in the plan for our lives that’ll change the outcome of what God is building through us. Can you imagine if an architect created the blueprints for the most amazing skyscraper and the construction company built the roof first?
Too often because of impatience we want to get to the result of our destiny before we’ve done the work that’s required to build it; we build the roof first. But what use is a roof with no building? None. We must start with the foundation and make it solid enough to erect what we are building, then we build it piece by piece until we top it with the roof. Then and only then is the building able to fulfill its designed purpose as it is with us too.
Today, don’t get discouraged because of setbacks but remember who designed the plan for your destiny. Then you can rest easy knowing that nothing can hold you down from reaching the star that God placed in the heavens just for you.
I pray that today you God will pour out His favor and blessings on you.
