The Secret Sauce of Destiny
Hebrews 11:1 (NKJ)
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
What does it require to reach our destiny? One we can’t see, feel or touch but is born strictly out of our desires and determination to accomplish our purpose. Faith.
Faith is what is required because Faith is what hope is created from, its very essence…its substance. Even though we can’t see that what we hope for will come to pass; to us it is our truth by way of our Faith that it will be our reality.
How do you have Faith?
To have Faith isn’t difficult by definition; it is merely the belief in what we can’t see. We have Faith in God’s existence even though we can’t see Him. Staying in Faith is what’s difficult because we will be tested and the larger our vision the harder our test must be…
If it were too easy to accomplish our destiny, it wouldn’t require Faith. As long as it requires Faith then in the end God receives ALL the glory for that accomplishment. The stronger our Faith, the more important our destiny , because the larger our vision will become. It all works together.
So to have a bigger vision we need only to enlarge our Faith in our destiny and the Creator of it. Given that there is no limit on God then our vision can be limitless as long as our Faith coincides with the size and scope of our vision.
Does that mean we won’t have difficulties in achieving our destiny? No, we’ll have challenges but God will give us the strength to overcome those challenges and move from victory to victory; all the while building our testimony to share with those that come behind us.
You see God’s plan for us isn’t just to achieve a destiny for our purposes but to bless others and bring them up too. And it is in that blessing that I believe people will come to know Jesus as their Savior. Otherwise, what is the point of destiny?
I’m saying this to myself too; let’s expand our vision, match our Faith to that vision, trust that God will direct us to the victory and He is certain to keep us in a state of awe.
Today, I pray that God blesses you with special favor and with a vision that scares you.
